A useful solution starts with context.
A domain, email service and web host are separate pieces even when a vendor sells them together. I help map which service owns each responsibility before changing DNS. A, CNAME, MX and TXT records serve different purposes; an incorrect edit can interrupt email as well as the website. Deployment may involve static hosting or a VPS with a reverse proxy, environment variables and a backup plan. Credentials and secrets belong in secure configuration, never public source code. We agree the target architecture and keep account ownership in your name. DNS changes may take time to propagate, so the handover includes a way to verify the final state.
What I can help with
- Domain selection and registration guidance
- A, CNAME, MX and TXT record configuration
- SSL, static hosting or scoped VPS deployment
- Reverse proxy, environment and backup guidance
Bring the problem, not a finished specification.
Share the current situation and your priorities. We’ll identify missing information together before agreeing to build.
- Domain and host accounts in your name
- Existing DNS records and service requirements
- A deployable application and securely arranged access
You complete sensitive verification yourself. Never send passwords, PINs, tokens or OTPs in a message.
A clear sequence, with review built in.
- 01
Inventory existing web and email services.
- 02
Choose hosting appropriate to the application.
- 03
Configure records, environment and secure deployment.
- 04
Verify the website, certificate and affected email records.
- 05
Document ownership, renewals and recovery steps.
What you receive
- Configured deployment and DNS records
- Verification and renewal notes
- An agreed backup and account-ownership map
The final checklist is agreed in the scope. If an external decision or dependency prevents completion, the status and the next available step are made clear.
Pricing & running costs
Quoted after infrastructure review. Domain renewals, server bills, licences and third-party subscriptions remain separate.
Before starting, we agree what is included, who pays third-party charges and what would require a revised quote. No fixed price or processing timeline is assumed.
Important limitations & privacy
DNS propagation and provider outages are outside my control. Changes must preserve existing services; secrets must not be committed or exposed in screenshots.
Only necessary information is requested for the agreed task. Sharing, access and document retention are discussed before handling sensitive material. Read the privacy notes.
Before you get in touch
Will the domain be in my name?
Yes. You should retain ownership and renewal access.
Can you move an existing site?
Migration can be scoped after reviewing data, downtime constraints and backups.
Is hosting included forever?
No. Recurring provider charges and optional maintenance are agreed separately.
